University of Calabar protest over lack of light

Early this morning at about, 10 a.m, students of the University of Calabar, Cross River state embarked on a protest over lack of basic amenities like water and electricity supply and poorly maintained toilets in their halls of residence.

 According to reports from the Cross River state capital, the entrances and exits of the university were barricaded by the protesting students
