Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari and vice president’s wife Dolapo Osinbajo were spotted at a Joint Session of The African Women’s Forum on Extremism and Radicalization in Geneva, Switzerland.
By attending the forum, Mrs. Buhari, who is from the North-East of Nigeria, is seeking strategic solution to the insurgency crisis.
Earlier this month, Aisha Buhari hosted a summit titled: “Bringing resilience and stability to Nigeria: A long-term strategy to improve Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health and Nutrition” in New York.
During the summit, which was the side event of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mrs Buhari focused on current challenges and barriers that females face in Nigeria and implications on maternal and child health in particular.
