Saraki Names Chairmen And Vice Chairmen Of Commitees

 President of the Nigeria Senate,Senator Bukola Saraki, has named 65 Senate committees to oversee various Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the government.Senator Saraki also named the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of these committees.

A total of 41 committees are chaired by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators, while 24 committees are headed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Senate President had in July, directed each Senator to fill forms indicating their interest in the committees they would belong.

He said: “Senators are advised to fill the forms indicating their interest in belonging to the committees of their choice and it is a maximum of five committees per senator.

“The forms will be distributed by the Clerk. You can also take a look at the form and make your submissions to the leader of the senate,” Saraki added.
