Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh, has said that no new invitees to the national team will have automatic shirt, adding that they will have to fight and earn their place, including Seattle Sounders striker, Obafemi Martins.
Martins was last invited to the national team under Coach Stephen Keshi in a tune up friendly matches to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. He was not impressive under Keshi and was dropped.
Out of favour Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins and in form Kelechi Iheanacho made Eagles list as the team prepares to play against Swaziland for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture in Novemeber.
However, the player had been on top of his game for his club after scoring 15 goals this season for the Major League Soccer outfit.
According to the Oliseh, Martins will offer the team some other qualities in attack but first he must earn his place in the team.

He said: “I was so impressed with the team’s play in the first leg and though I was not with the team in the second leg, I was told they did brilliantly considering the hostility.”
